Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain small to medium-sized buildings and industrial systems. The role covers preventive maintenance, inspections, and minor installations, with supervision.

Responsibilities include following established procedures, reviewing work orders, and ensuring efficient operation of building systems. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, 1-2 years of related experience, and the ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience.
  • Able to lift 50 lbs or more and perform physical tasks.
  • Follow basic work routines and standards in applying work.
  • Clear communication to exchange straightforward information.
  • Basic proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook or similar MS Office tools.
  • Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
  • Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
  • Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
  • Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion.
  • Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
  • Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
