Job summary

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of apartment maintenance experience or equivalent.
• High school diploma or GED; college or technical degree preferred.
• EPA certifications Type I and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling; Certified Pool/Spa Operator certificates; state/local requirements as applicable.
• Proficient in safety standards (OSHA) and MSDS regulations; knowledge of property management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists with and completes work orders from resident requests and routine upkeep.
• Oversees make-ready process for vacant apartments, including inspections and scheduling vendors.
• Develops standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, amenities, interiors and common areas.
• Inspects work performed to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with policies and codes.
• Maintains inventory of spare parts and coordinates with budget for purchases.
• Completes monthly Preventative Maintenance procedures and safety meetings.
