Job summary

Gallery Residential is seeking a Service Director to oversee maintenance across indoor and outdoor property areas, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and functionality. You will handle work orders, manage make-ready processes for vacant units, and lead a team to uphold high community standards.

The role requires 2–3 years of apartment maintenance experience, OSHA/MSDS familiarity, and strong communication skills. A high school diploma or GED is required, with college or technical degree preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years of apartment maintenance experience or equivalent.
• High school diploma or GED; college or technical degree preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively; customer service orientation.
• Familiarity with OSHA standards and MSDS regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with and complete work orders from resident requests and routine upkeep.
• Oversee the make-ready process for vacant units, schedule vendors, and ensure quality work.
• Develop standards for appearance of grounds, buildings, and common areas to reflect high property standards.
• Inspect work to ensure compliance with policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and coordinate with the Community Director on budgets.
• Support safety programs, conduct monthly safety meetings, and ensure OSHA/MSDS compliance.
