Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. seeks a Facilities Operations & Maintenance Inspector in Huntsville, AL. The role monitors construction, operations, maintenance, and repairs to ensure compliance with NASA MSFC standards, contract drawings, and specs.

The candidate will review submittals, manage progress payments, and generate daily inspection reports. A high school diploma is required; construction management experience is preferred, with HVAC and electrician background

Qualifications

• 3+ years of applicable inspection experience on construction projects.
• HVAC master/journeyman experience highly valued.
• Journeyman electrician experience a plus.
• High School Diploma required; Construction Management degree a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect construction, operations, maintenance, and repair activities for conformance with contract drawings, specifications, and NASA MSFC standards.
• Review submittals for accuracy and monitor them via Procore.
• Evaluate and verify progress payment requests from contractors.
• Provide daily inspection reports and track project schedule progress.
• Maintain organized files for correspondence, meetings, and reports.
• Monitor RFIs and contract documents to ensure continuity of work.
• Assist in final inspections and punch-list verification before final payment.
• Review as-built drawings and O&M manuals for accuracy.
