Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. seeks a Construction/Operations/Maintenance Inspector to monitor activities at MSFC standards on a site in Huntsville, AL. The role requires verifying contractor work against contract drawings and NASA specifications.

You will prepare daily reports, review submittals in Procore, manage RFIs, and assist in final inspections. A high school diploma and 3+ years of inspection experience are preferred; HVAC/electrical journeyman experience is valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or equivalent) required; college degree in Construction Management is a plus.
• 3+ years of applicable inspection experience on construction projects preferred.
• HVAC master/journeyman experience highly valued.
• Master/journeyman electrician experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide inspection and surveillance of construction, operations, maintenance, and repair activities to ensure work aligns with contract drawings, specifications, and NASA MSFC standards.
• Review construction submittals for accuracy and monitor via Procore.
• Review and evaluate contractor requests for progress payments.
• Prepare daily inspection reports summarizing progress and schedule status.
