Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Operations & Maintenance Inspector in Huntsville, AL. You will monitor construction, operations, and maintenance to ensure conformance with MSFC standards, project drawings, and contract requirements.

Role emphasizes inspection accuracy, documentation, and coordination with contractors, with a focus on safety, quality, and timely reporting in a federal-contractor environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Construction Management degree is a plus.
• Experience inspecting construction projects preferred; 3+ years ideal.
• HVAC master/journeyman and electrician experience valued.

Responsibilities

• Inspect construction, maintenance, and repair work per contract drawings and NASA MSFC standards.
• Review submittals for accuracy and track via Procore.
• Evaluate progress payment requests and verify schedules.
• Produce daily inspection reports and punch lists as needed.
• Maintain organized files for correspondence, meetings, and reports.
• Monitor RFIs and contract amendments to ensure construction continuity.
• Assist in pre-final/final inspections and finalize punch lists for payments.
• Review as-built drawings and address discrepancies.
