Job summary

Sun Communities is seeking Maintenance Technicians to perform routine and preventative maintenance across our communities, ensuring cleanliness and upkeep of property grounds, facilities, and utilities.

You will handle lawn care, snow removal, water testing, minor repairs, and supervision support; requires high school diploma, valid driver's license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and teamwork. This is an on-site role with potential on-call duties and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months in maintenance in apartment/manufactured housing preferred.
• Need valid driver’s license and ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use email/internet.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on homes, facilities, grounds, and utilities.
• Handle trash/debris cleanup in common areas daily and maintain cleanliness.
• Inspect irrigation, water meters, and well/sewer systems as applicable.
• Conduct minor repairs and assist supervisor with contractors.
• Provide safe, reliable snow removal where applicable.
• Maintain lawns, trees, shrubs, and general landscaping.
• Ensure community streets and entrances are hazard-free.
• Assist with move-in/move-out inspections and reporting.
