Sun Communities is seeking Maintenance Technicians to perform routine and preventative maintenance across our communities. This role includes cleaning, repairs, grounds care, and basic utility system checks to ensure facilities are safe and inviting.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, 6 months of maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift at least 50 lbs. A team-oriented, safety-conscious approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• 6 months of maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to endure outdoor conditions and lift 50 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to work independently or on a team.
• Comfort with on-call scheduling and basic computer use.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and preventative maintenance across properties.
• Completes minor repairs to rental homes and facilities.
• Maintains grounds, buildings, and common areas.
• Inspects irrigation, water meters, and utility systems as applicable.
• Operates tools and equipment safely and reports issues.
