Job summary

PACS in the United States is seeking a Maintenance Worker to maintain the grounds, facility, and equipment in a safe, efficient manner according to applicable standards and our policies. You will follow maintenance schedules, coordinate with nursing staff, perform routine repairs, and respond to equipment issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Ability to make independent decisions and follow instructions.
• Ability to deal tactfully with residents, family members, visitors, government agencies and staff.
• Must maintain confidentiality of resident information including protected health information.
• Basic math skills for fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Follow maintenance schedules for the assigned shift or area.
• Report accidents/incidents to supervisor promptly.
• Coordinate daily maintenance with nursing services when in resident areas.
• Perform routine maintenance on grounds, facilities and equipment.
• Service heating and cooling units per manufacturer specifications.
• Ensure supplies are replenished in work areas.
