Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Specialist to maintain restaurant infrastructure through proactive maintenance, repairs, and training.

You will coordinate with the Operations team, contractors, and regional managers to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant facilities across markets. Ideal candidates bring hands-on trade skills in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC, plus strong communication and planning abilities.

Qualifications

• Two years formal or informal training on how to repair and maintain facilities.
• Experience with restaurant equipment, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration or appliance repair preferred.
• Knowledge of facilities safety requirements and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist Facilities Manager by supervising facility aspects of restaurant management at market level.
• Perform facility maintenance and repair through monthly site visits and analysis.
• Formulate preventative maintenance schedules for safe, efficient operation of facilities.
• Carry out procedures when facilities cease functioning or pose safety risks.
• Train managers, crew and staff on facility maintenance concepts and procedures.
• Ensure staff follow maintenance practices consistently.
• Provide maintenance visit recaps to Operations Team and Regional Facilities Manager.
• Identify issues affecting M&R costs and communicate to leadership.
• Help maintain and update facility records.
• Perform equipment and building repairs during emergencies or scheduled site visits.
• Coordinate new store turnovers and walkthroughs with Contractors and Operations Team.
• Serve as liaison between restaurants, landlords, contractors and vendors.
• Support Development Department with Wynkoop initiatives and repairs.
