Job summary

Accura Engineering in Huntsville, AL seeks a Facilities Operations & Maintenance Inspector to monitor construction, operations, and maintenance to ensure alignment with MSFC standards. You will review submittals, monitor progress, and generate daily inspection reports.

The role requires 5+ years of inspection experience, a US citizen status, and the ability to pass a federal background check. Procore experience and MS Office proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of applicable inspection experience on construction projects.
• Experience with USACE/NASA or federal projects preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability required.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ability to read construction drawings.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and surveil construction, operations, maintenance to ensure conformance with NASA MSFC standards.
• Review submittals for accuracy and monitor via Procore.
• Evaluate progress payment requests from contractors.
• Prepare daily inspection reports with progress updates and schedule tracking.
• Maintain orderly project files and correspondence.
• Monitor RFIs and contract documents throughout construction.
• Assist in final inspections and punch-list creation.
• Review as-built drawings for accuracy and discrepancies.
• Comment on O&M manuals received during construction.
