Job summary

The Lane Events Center in Oregon seeks an Operations Supervisor to lead the team keeping facilities running smoothly and events on track. This hands-on role focuses on people management, problem solving, and fast-paced event environments to deliver safe, welcoming spaces for clients, vendors and guests.

You’ll oversee daily facility operations, supervise staff, coordinate event support, and drive improvements in service delivery while coordinating with internal teams on maintenance and upgrades.

Qualifications

• Eight years of education and/or experience in facilities maintenance, upkeep, or a specialized maintenance or construction trade; includes one year in a supervisory, management, or leadership role.
• Three years of progressively responsible experience related to facilities operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop staff: supervise event setup, teardown, custodial services, scheduling, training, coaching and performance management.
• Coordinate event operations with event coordinators, clients, vendors and contractors for prep, execution and cleanup.
• Oversee facility readiness: maintain cleanliness, safety, equipment and operations within budget.
• Manage facility improvements: coordinate construction, renovation and maintenance with contractors and internal teams.
• Improve operations: contribute to strategic planning and implement efficiency improvements.
