Job summary

Magna Exteriors is seeking a seasoned Facilities Engineering leader to head the department, manage capital projects, and ensure safe, efficient operations across molding, paint, and related engineering activities.

You will drive continuous improvement, coordinate with suppliers and internal teams, enforce OSHA/EPA guidelines, and align with Magna’s manufacturing goals while developing personnel and optimizing budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; 12 years experience may substitute for degree.
• Minimum five years technical experience in painting automotive exterior decorative plastics.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules of Decostar and maintain a safe and healthful workplace.
• Understand the employee's rights under OSHA, EEOC, FLSA and do not discriminate.
• Lead, direct and follow Company health and safety objectives to provide a safe workplace.
• Lead department to provide high customer satisfaction to internal customers.
• Develop budgets and manage capital equipment installations and expenditures.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontracted service providers for capital projects.
• Participate in cross-functional continuous improvement teams and new product launches.
