Job summary

Magna Exteriors seeks a seasoned engineer to lead automation, robotics, and plant-wide operations. You will guide project teams, interface with maintenance, and drive process improvements to meet safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidate has a strong background in Fanuc/Sepro robotics, PLCs (Allen Bradley), and CAD drawing creation, with proven leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required, with ten years’ experience substituting for degree.
• Experience programming Fanuc, Sepro, or other robot systems (min 4 years).
• Two years minimum experience creating drawings in AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage adherence to The Magna Employee’s Charter and ensure staff follow policies.
• Provide automation/robotic support across production departments; train-the-trainer approach.
• Coordinate new projects, engineering modifications, and capital asset installations.
• Ensure timelines, safety standards, and regulatory requirements are met.
