Job summary

Magna Exteriors is seeking an experienced Lead Engineer to oversee a team of advanced manufacturing, controls, and industrial engineers. You will drive equipment launches, manage projects, and introduce cutting-edge automation across three shifts, coordinating with design, production, and quality assurance to ensure success.

The role requires strong leadership, electrical engineering and control systems knowledge, and the ability to travel about 25% to customer sites and facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Controls Engineering (or related).
• 7+ years in advanced manufacturing, controls, and industrial engineering.
• Proven ability to program and troubleshoot ABB robots, AB PLCs, and Keyence Vision systems.
• Experience with glass encapsulation, bonding, and automation in automotive industries is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead equipment launch projects, ensuring quality and budget compliance.
