Job summary

Magna Exteriors seeks a Facilities Engineering Manager in Georgia to lead the dedicated department, set goals, allocate resources, and ensure safe, compliant operations across molding, painting, and related manufacturing activities.

You will drive capital projects, optimize utilities, build supplier relationships, and guide multiple engineering disciplines toward cost-efficient, high-quality production in a dynamic automotive environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering required.
• Twelve years work experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
• Experience in painting automotive exterior decorative plastics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Facilities Engineering Department to set goals, priorities and performance metrics.
• Develop and manage departmental budgets for capital and expense items.
• Oversee capital equipment installations and supplier relationships.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA, EPA guidelines and safety standards.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams on new product launches and process improvements.
• Provide guidance to Packaging, Manufacturing, Industrial, Tooling and Engineering Technician staff.
