Magna Exteriors is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to lead and develop the MEHP and MEBT engineering teams at our Michigan facilities. You will manage resources, set standards, and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities include leading new program launches, coordinating process changes, and supporting customer quality efforts while fostering a culture of accountability and technical excellence.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field.
• 7+ years of process/manufacturing engineering experience.
• 3+ years of leadership managing engineering personnel or major programs.
• Experience in automotive manufacturing settings with APQP, PFMEA, Control Plans, Standardized Work, and launches.
• Experience leading engineering support during new product launches and lean/continuous improvement.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, coach, and develop Process Engineers supporting MEHP and MEBT.
• Manage engineering resources and priorities across both facilities.
• Establish consistent engineering practices, standards, and expectations.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, mentoring, and development of engineering personnel.
• Build a culture focused on accountability, technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Lead process engineering activities for new model launches and develop manufacturing layouts.
• Coordinate pilot builds, launch trials, and production readiness activities.
• Own the ECN process for both facilities and drive closure of changes.
• Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, productivity, and throughput.
• Support OEM customer issue resolution and audits.
