Job summary

Magna Exteriors is seeking a Senior Facilities Engineer to lead the Facilities Engineering department and ensure safe, cost-effective operations across molding, painting, and related facilities. You will manage capital budgets, drive continuous improvement, and coordinate with other departments to support new product launches.

Qualified candidates have a chemical/mechanical/electrical engineering degree, with extensive experience in painting automotive exterior plastics or equivalent roles, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required.
• Twelve years work related experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
• Work experience in painting automotive exterior decorative plastics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a positive and productive workplace per Magna Employee’s Charter.
• Lead the Facilities Engineering department with clear goals, priorities and metrics.
• Coordinate with Molding and Paint departments to align objectives and activities.
• Develop and manage departmental budgets and capital projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety, OSHA and environmental guidelines.
• Represent facilities in cross-functional improvement teams and new product launches.
