Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Building Engineer in Milwaukee to monitor, maintain, and repair building systems across three buildings. The role covers plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and safety systems, with mileage reimbursement for travel between sites.

The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent plus 4–5 years of related experience, with Universal CFC certification preferred. Standard hours are 6:30 AM–3:00 PM, with some travel between locations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience.
• Universal CFC certification is preferred.
• Certifications/licenses as may be required by local or state jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire, life safety, and control systems.
• Comply with codes, regulations, and safety directives.
• Maintain an energy management program for efficient system operation.
• Assist with preventive maintenance to meet design life; perform emergency repairs as needed.
• Follow safety policies for storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials.
