Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Building Engineer to monitor, maintain, and repair building systems including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and life-safety components. You will help ensure facilities operate safely and efficiently.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED with several years of related experience; Universal CFC certification is preferred; supervisory experience is a plus. Proficiency with MS Office and strong problem-solving abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 4-5 years of related experience.
• Universal CFC certification preferred.
• Certifications/licenses as required by local/state jurisdictions.
• Prior shift management or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire, life safety, and control systems.
• Comply with codes, regulations, and safety directions.
• Maintain an energy management program for efficient system operation.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and emergency repairs as needed.
• Review inspections of building systems to ensure operation within design specs.
• Apply knowledge to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
• Coach others and share knowledge; lead by example and promote CBRE RISE values.
