Job summary

Advocate Health seeks a Facilities Maintenance Technician at Aurora West Allis Medical Center to maintain and repair mechanical and electrical systems, read blueprints, and document work in CMMS. You will troubleshoot equipment and respond to building requests with professional communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• 4+ years of equipment maintenance experience
• Driver's license required
• Basic computer skills (CMMS, building automation, Microsoft Office)

Responsibilities

• Performs facility and equipment maintenance in accordance with codes and standards
• Maintains, repairs, and troubleshoots mechanical equipment (motors, pumps, doors, boilers, HVAC, etc.)
• Maintains patient care equipment and general building systems
• Reads blueprints and maintenance manuals
• Responds to emergencies and building occupant requests promptly
