Job summary

JLL seeks a Technical Manager to lead the Facilities Maintenance team in the Detroit area. You will maintain and optimize building systems, including dock doors, HVAC, PLCs, and BMS with Tridium platforms.

You will use Maximo and Corrigo for PMs and work orders, provide after-hours support, and mentor technicians. Reports to the Sr. Facility Manager; schedule is Mon-Fri, 6:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Controls Engineering or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years with industrial control systems, PLCs, HMIs, and building automation.

Responsibilities

• Respond to PMs and work orders; support BMS and Tridium platforms.
• Provide after-hours support for critical facility systems.
• Prepare reports and maintain TIS docs and drawings.
• Train technicians on Maximo, IT procedures, and safety.
• Lead controls projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
