CBRE is seeking a Building Engineer in Hartford to monitor, maintain, and repair building systems across mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and life-safety areas. You will support preventive maintenance, energy management, and safety compliance while ensuring operations meet client standards.

You will need a high school diploma or equivalent with 4-5 years of related experience and may require local licenses. This role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and efficient facility management.

Competenze

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience.
• Universal CFC certification is preferred and certifications/licenses as required by local/state jurisdictions.
• Prior shift management or supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to exercise judgment based on analysis of multiple sources of information.

• Perform maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, structural, fire life safety, and control systems.
• Keep facility and building systems up to applicable standards as assigned.
• Comply with codes, regulations, and safety directives related to building operations.
• Maintain an energy management program and ensure systems operate efficiently.
