Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Production Supervisor for our Fabrication department in a manufacturing environment. You will direct a work team to meet daily production schedules while upholding safety, quality, and cost targets.

The role requires a university degree or equivalent with 2+ years in supervision; proficiency in MS Office is expected. Lean/Six Sigma experience is preferred to drive continuous improvements and cost reductions.

Qualifications

• University degree with experience or 2-year degree with more years.
• Two years' experience as Production Supervisor in manufacturing.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of a work team in Fabrication, meeting daily production schedules for coils and copper sub-assemblies.
• Maintain safety, quality and cost targets.
• Distribute work, answer questions and resolve problems within the unit.
• Collaborate with engineering to improve cost, scheduling and labor planning.
• Supervise, evaluate and train the work group and ensure records are kept.
