Job summary

Johnson Controls Florida seeks a Production Supervisor to assure the assigned department operates profitably and efficiently through proper use of manpower, materials, equipment and space. You will supervise the production team and oversee training, work planning, performance appraisals, and discipline as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least three years lead supervisory experience.
• Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma preferred.
• Manufacturing supervisory experience supervising large groups.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Must be computer literate and familiar with software programs.
• Ability to create visual aids for communication purposes.
• PC based software knowledge includes word-processing, spreadsheets and Lotus email.
• Bilingual Spanish/English is beneficial.
