Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to direct a work team in the assembly and fabrication of sub‑assemblies while meeting daily production schedules, quality, safety, and efficiency goals.

The role requires an associate degree and five years of manufacturing experience, or eight to ten years without a two‑year degree, plus strong communication and analytical skills. Salary ranges from $60,000 to $82,000 with a bonus plan and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required or 8–10 years manufacturing experience in lieu of degree.
• Strong mechanical and analytical abilities.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct a work team to meet daily production schedules in assembly/fabrication.
• Coordinate production plans with department leaders across shifts.
• Ensure safety, quality, cost and delivery targets are met.
• Provide training and maintain training records for employees.
• Maintain housekeeping and ensure compliance with plant rules and quality standards.
• Maintain labor and attendance records and manage time for projects.
• Support safety initiatives to achieve loss-time injury goals.
