Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited is seeking an IT Support Engineer in Beaverton, OR, to provide onsite desktop, mobile, and printer support in a semiconductor manufacturing setting. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, OS, and network issues, manage imaging and patching, and handle AD permissions and security groups, using ITSM tools to streamline requests.

Qualifications

• 3+ years IT support experience in semiconductor manufacturing, Fab, plant, or industrial environments.
• Strong experience supporting Windows desktops and laptops, mobile devices, printers, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, LAN/Wi-Fi/TCP-IP/VPN troubleshooting, endpoint security, patch management, device imaging, and software deployment.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and endpoint technologies.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, OS, and network connectivity issues.
• Support Windows OS and Microsoft Office applications.
• Perform device imaging, software installation, configuration, upgrades, and patch management.
• Manage user accounts, AD access, permissions, and security groups.
• Utilize ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Remedy, Jira) to manage incidents and requests.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and hardware lifecycle records.
• Follow IT security, compliance, and software licensing policies.
• Create technical documentation and provide end-user support.
• Support production-critical systems in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
