Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Field Technician C to support FAA-related field services in Fresno, CA and surrounding areas. The role involves installing, repairing, configuring, and maintaining equipment at customer sites with potential extensive travel and on-call work.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years of related experience or an Associate degree with 2+ years of related work, plus a valid driver’s license. FAA clearance may be required for access to secure facilities.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
• Possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License, and a satisfactory driving record, as conditions of initial (and continued) employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for each specific program/system (FTI, MS, ADS-B, DCNS, WMSS and others) for FAA.
• Install, repair, configure, test and complete preventative maintenance on equipment at customer locations.
• Able to travel to remote sites within a 3 hour drive circle of base location (up to 100%).
• Read and follow equipment drawings and task orders.
• Maintain tools, test equipment, parts/electronics, and vehicle; coordinate with NOCC/SAC/Helpdesk.
