Job summary

L3Harris Technologies seeks a Field Technician C to join our Field Services organization supporting FAA missions. Based in Modesto, CA, you will install, repair, and maintain equipment at customer sites, with extensive travel within a 3-hour radius, and occasional on-call hours to meet FAA needs.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent plus relevant experience; a valid driver's license is essential. Clearance eligibility is required, and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to obtain and maintain FAA public trust security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for FAA programs/systems (FTI, MS, ADS-B, DCNS, WMSS).
• Install, repair, configure, test and perform preventative maintenance on equipment at customer locations.
• Travel to remote sites within a 3-hour drive circle and up to 100% travel as needed.
• Read and follow equipment drawings and task orders; document service activities.
• Coordinate with NOCC, SAC, and Helpdesk to resolve field issues.
