Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Field Technician for the FAA Field Services team in White Plains, NY. You will provide on-site support for FAA facilities, install, configure, test and maintain equipment at customer locations, and collaborate with NOCC, SAC, and Helpdesk to resolve issues.

The role requires travel within the FAA service area, on-call hours, and the ability to read drawings and task orders. FAA clearance may be required; valid driver’s license is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have HS diploma or equivalent with 4+ years field tech experience or 2 years post-secondary with 4 years related experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to obtain FAA Public Trust or U.S. Government Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for FAA programs (FTI, MS, ADS-B, DCNS, WMSS).
• Install, repair and test equipment at customer locations.
• Work on-call and travel within assigned area as needed.
• Read and follow equipment drawings and task orders.
• Maintain tools, test gear and inventory; coordinate with NOCC/SAC/Helpdesk.
