Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Field Technician C to support FAA programs within the Boston airspace and surrounding sites. The role involves installing, repairing, configuring, testing, and performing preventative maintenance on diverse equipment at customer locations.

You will read drawings, document activities, and coordinate with NOCC and Helpdesk to resolve field issues. The position requires readiness to travel within the assigned area and occasionally beyond, with on-call

Qualifications

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
Obtain and maintain a DOT Public Trust Security Clearance and a DOD Secret Clearance.
Possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License and/or local US State REAL ID equivalent and a satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support for FAA programs/systems (FTI, MS, ADS-B, DCNS, WMSS and others).
Install, repair, configure, test and perform preventative maintenance on equipment at customer sites.
Read and interpret equipment drawings and task orders.
Coordinate with NOCC, SAC, and Helpdesk to resolve field issues.
Maintain tools, test equipment, parts, and vehicle inventory.
Work approved hours and travel as needed to meet customer needs.
