Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Field Technician for FAA contracts. The role involves field support, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting at customer sites, with on-call hours and travel within a specified area.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent, 6 years of related experience (or 2 years post-secondary with 2+ years), and the ability to obtain FAA clearance. Strong customer service and network skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, with 6 years of relevant experience or 2 years post-secondary/associates with 2+ years of experience.
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain FAA security clearance.
• Ability to travel to customer sites and work on-call as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for FAA programs at customer sites.
• Install, repair, configure, test and perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Read and follow equipment drawings and task orders.
• Coordinate with NOCC, SAC, and Helpdesk to resolve field issues.
• Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and vehicles; be prepared for dispatch.
• Work outside regular hours to meet customer needs.
