Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Field Technician C to support FAA programs within the Field Services organization. The role involves installing, repairing, configuring, and maintaining equipment at customer sites, with extensive travel as needed.

Ideal candidates will have a HS diploma or higher with relevant experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to obtain an FAA Public Trust Security Clearance.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
• Possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License, and a satisfactory driving record, as conditions of initial (and continued) employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for each program/system (FTI, MS, ADS-B, DCNS, WMSS and others) for the FAA.
• Install, repair, configure, test and perform preventative maintenance on equipment at customer sites.
• Travel to customer locations within assigned area, with potential remote sites travel up to 100% of the time.
• Read and interpret equipment drawings and task orders; document activities at customer locations.
• Coordinate with NOCC, SAC, and Helpdesk to resolve field issues.
