Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Field Technician C to support the FAA across the Field Services organization. The role involves installing, repairing, configuring, testing, and performing maintenance on a range of equipment at customer sites in Modesto, CA and surrounding areas.

You may travel up to 100% of the time within a 3 hour drive circle from base location. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or equivalent (or 2 years post-secondary with related experience) and a valid

Qualifications

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
Possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License, and a satisfactory driving record, as conditions of initial (and continued) employment.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support for FAA programs (FTI, MS, ADS-B, DCNS, WMSS and others).
Install, repair, configure, test and complete preventative maintenance on equipment at customer locations.
Travel to remote sites within a 3 hour drive; may travel up to 100% of the time.
Read and follow equipment drawings and task orders; maintain good admin notes.
Work with NOCC, SAC, and Helpdesk to resolve field issues; maintain inventory and tools.
