Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Field Technician for its Field Services organization to support FAA programs. The role involves field support, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting at customer sites within a defined region, with on-call hours and travel as needed.

Responsibilities include maintaining tools and equipment, reading drawings, and coordinating with NOCC, SAC and Helpdesk to resolve issues in the field. FAA clearance is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/equivalent or 2-year degree with 2+ years relevant experience.
• Valid Driver’s License with a satisfactory driving record.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain FAA security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for FAA programs (FTI, MS, ADS-B, DCNS, WMSS, and others).
• Install, repair, configure, test and perform preventative maintenance on equipment at customer locations.
• Travel to customer sites within assigned area; occasional travel beyond area may be required.
• Read, understand and follow equipment drawings and task orders.
• Maintain tools, test equipment, parts/electronics, inventory and vehicle; be prepared for tasks before dispatch.
• Collaborate with NOCC, SAC and Helpdesk to resolve field issues.
