Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts seeks a results-driven Restaurant Operations Manager to plan and oversee the Restaurant, Room Service, and other food and beverage outlets, ensuring guest satisfaction and financial performance. You will lead teams across multiple outlets, uphold safety and service standards, and drive promotional initiatives.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, budgeting, and guest relations in a high-volume hospitality environment and requires reliable availability to meet business

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of post-high school education.
• Two+ years of full employment in a related position.
• Hotel experience preferred.
• Knowledge of restaurant/hotel practices and procedures.
• Strong supervision, management, and communication skills.
• Ability to investigate and analyze current activities and make recommendations.
• Knowledge of staffing, budgeting, safety, and hospitality operations.
• Leadership to motivate and develop staff.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day operations of the restaurant and room service for breakfast, lunch and dinner periods and manage bar operations.
• Oversee human resources across outlets: hiring, scheduling, training, coaching, and performance reviews.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety regulations, and quality standards across outlets.
• Forecast and manage budgets and costs to maximize revenue and control expenses.
• Respond to guest feedback to enhance service and repeat business.
• Develop promotions and buffet presentations to attract in-house guests and local market share.
• Monitor maintenance and sanitation of outlets and equipment.
• Ensure reliable attendance and availability to work as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
