Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts is seeking an Outlet/Restaurant role responsible for supporting the Outlet Manager in planning and managing service across restaurant, room service, and other F&B outlets to meet customer satisfaction and financial goals.

The position requires ensuring service standards, supervising staff, maintaining cleanliness, and complying with liquor regulations. It offers growth within a diverse, inclusive workplace and benefits program.

Qualifications

• Experience using point of sale systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Ability to push/pull carts weighing up to 150 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Strong verbal and written communication with diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Monitor servers and busperson adherence to service standards.
• Supervise service of guests and respond to guest needs.
• Assist manager to establish and monitor sidework duty completion.
• Maintain bank to HEI Hotels and Resorts standards.
• Read daily communication sheets and prepare for the following shift; check floor plan for coverage.
• Check restaurant for cleanliness and setup; ensure proper tables and stands.
• Comply with liquor requirements governing service of alcohol.
• Communicate events and house counts to the restaurant manager.
• Assist with menu classes and taste panels.
• Provide clear written and verbal directions to staff.
• Adhere to attendance rules and be available regularly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
