Job summary

Mille Lacs Corporate Ventures in Hinckley, MN, seeks a seasoned Food & Beverage Operations leader to supervise guest service and production of high-quality food and beverage experiences in Grand Casino venues. You will enforce standards, manage liquor control and budgets, and coach Associates to deliver exceptional guest satisfaction while ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and internal controls.

Must have 3 years F&B ops, 2 years supervisory, Serv-Safe preferred, and be ready to lead

Qualifications

• Three (3) years progressive Food & Beverage Operations experience with two (2) years of Supervisory/Managerial experience.
• One (1) year alcohol service including wine service and bartending.
• Serv-Safe Certification preferred; Certification required within one (1) year of placement.
• Alcohol Awareness Certification within 2 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Enforce performance standards, policies and procedures in the venue are in accordance with Grand Casino’s mission and objectives.
• Comply with all food and beverage health, liquor and safety regulations; as well as all Tribal, Federal, State and Local laws.
• Evaluate and train Associates to ensure staff’s compliance with guest service standards.
• Liquor control and ordering for the venue.
• Ensure venue operations run smoothly to maximize guest satisfaction.
• Review and approve hiring, transfers, discipline and performance evaluations.
• Maximize cost effectiveness within the department by adhering to budget, labor and revenue benchmarks.
• Listen to, evaluate and resolve guest grievances promptly.
• Maintain cash handling procedures and variances.
• Provide input to Management on operational deficiencies and areas for attention.
• Establish priorities for Team members and provide assistance as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of internal controls, policies and procedures.
• Maintain venue equipment and appearance per Grand Casino standards.
• Maintain open communication through staff meetings and daily pre-shift meetings.
