Job summary

New Waterloo is seeking an F&B Manager to oversee planning, organizing, training, and leadership to achieve objectives in sales, costs, guest service, and food quality.

You will assist in outlet oversight, develop staff training, and supervise F&B employees while applying strong leadership, communication, and time-management skills in a fast-paced hospitality environment to deliver exceptional guest experiences and uphold New Waterloo standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience in hospitality preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before guests and groups of co-workers.
• Proficient with computer and Point of Sale (POS) systems.
• Ability to apply math concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Strong leadership and development mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assist AGM/GM with overseeing the outlet to ensure smooth service execution.
• Develop staff training programs for knowledgeable service.
• Assist in developing departmental objectives, policies, and strategies.
• Train and supervise Food & Beverage employees; provide feedback based on observation.
• Manage labor costs with effective scheduling and proactive oversight.
• Analyze problems like theft and waste; help establish corrective procedures.
• Hold staff accountable for performance with supervision and follow-ups.
