Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting represents a client operating premier hotels, rooftops and restaurants. The role leads restaurant, lounge and kitchen operations, ensuring flawless service, quality, and guest satisfaction with strong team leadership.

You’ll drive compliance, sales capture, and high-performance standards, partnering with kitchen teams and sales to meet projections while maintaining superb guest experiences across all venues.

• Leadership or supervisory experience in food and beverage operations is required.

• Where local law requires it, must be able to hold a valid liquor license.
• Proven experience with food service administrative functions, such as ordering, inventory control, staff scheduling, and financial reporting.
• Proven computer, administrative, math, accounting, and supervisory skills. Experience working with a variety of commercial food service equipment
• Ability to deal effectively with customers and other company personnel. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers, guests or employees.
• Basic knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and procedures.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all restaurant, lounge, and kitchen operations, ensuring guest satisfaction and flawless quality in service and presentation.
• Manage compliance with operational processes and procedures to maintain a high-performing environment.
• Ensures systems are in place to accurately capture sales.
• Ensure prompt and efficient service of all amenities, meals and beverages
• Ensure that cashier systems are in place following the SMART plan.
• Work closely with the kitchen supervisor to maximize speed of service.
• Utilize the sales and marketing plan as basis for setting customer service goals and long term scheduling. Validate the sales plan is in line with Period and Quarterly projections.
• Monitor and assess product quality, satisfaction, and trends to determine if any change in programs or strategy is required.
• Ensure all team members have current knowledge of outlet offerings, products, services, facilities, event, pricing and policies and are knowledgeable of the local area and events.
• Works closely with social media and marketing contacts in Sales on promotional and operational efforts to maximize achievement of sales (advertising, posters, mailers, local businesses and residences)
