Job summary

Onni in Chicago is seeking an experienced restaurant operations coordinator to manage administrative tasks for the F&B department and supervise daily restaurant operations at the Emily Hotel. You will oversee payroll, scheduling, onboarding, and training documents, while supporting executive oversight to maximize profitability and guest satisfaction.

The role requires hands-on leadership, compliance with safety standards, and collaboration with the Restaurant General Manager and Hotel Operations

Qualifications

• Experience working in a restaurant setting.
• Knowledge of safety initiatives in compliance with OSHA guidelines.
• Education in hospitality management, culinary arts, business administration or similar required.
• If applicable, must meet required minimum age to serve alcohol.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily tipsheets are filled out.
• Submit accurate payroll biweekly.
• Ensure ordering is being completed and consistent.
• Review daily sales and resolve discrepancies with Accounting.
• Prepare weekly schedules per staffing guidelines and labor forecasts.
• Assign work and communicate changes during shifts.
• Attend pre-shift meetings and assist with training topics.
• Maintain knowledge of house accounts and arrivals.
