Job summary

Onni seeks a Food & Beverage Manager to supervise the day-to-day operations of the Emily Hotel's primary restaurant outlet in Chicago. You will collaborate with the Restaurant General Manager to maintain high service standards, profitability, and staff development.

The role requires restaurant experience, OSHA safety knowledge, and a hospitality-focused degree. You will manage shifts, schedules, training, and guest relations while ensuring compliance with liquor laws and health regulations.

Qualifications

• Restaurant experience in a hotel/restaurant setting.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety guidelines and compliance.
• Education in hospitality management, culinary arts, business administration or similar.
• Must meet minimum age to serve alcohol if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure staff report to work as scheduled and lead shifts.
• Oversee operations in Fora, Coffee Bar, Rooftop Cinema, and Events.
• Inspect grooming and attire, rectify deficiencies.
• Review daily sales and resolve discrepancies with accounting.
• Prepare weekly staff schedules and adjust to business demands.
• Train and onboard new staff; ensure proper handoffs.
• Maintain guest relations and respond to feedback.
• Ensure compliance with liquor laws, health regulations.
• Update POS and coordinate with Engineering for maintenance.
• Conduct monthly inventories of liquor, beer, and wine.
