Omni Royal Orleans Hotel in New Orleans' French Quarter seeks an Assistant Manager to train and supervise associates across restaurant outlets, ensuring courteous service and consistent guest satisfaction. Qualifications

• Previous restaurant manager experience required.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Understanding of financial statements and labor productivity.
• Must have unexpired Food Handlers and TABC - or obtain upon hire.
• Must be able to stand and walk for an extended period of time or for an entire shift.
• Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects of moderate weight without assistance.
• Working in the interior of hotel, dining room and restaurant kitchen, with occasional travel around resort property as needed.
• Exposure to various cleaning chemicals.
• Exposure to food items and beverages.

Responsibilities

• Consistently ensure maximum guest satisfaction in the restaurant.
• Conduct daily pre‑meal meetings with service staff.
• Supervise floor during operation and ensure service protocol is followed.
• Handle all guest complaints to their satisfaction.
• Prepare weekly staff schedules and ensure stations are staffed.
• Monitor productivity and quality of food throughout service.
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the restaurant.
• Upsell beverages and specials when appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with liquor liability laws and safety procedures.
