Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a Director, Finance M&A within its PEPI practice to lead Finance & Accounting advisory for private equity clients through pre-deal, diligence, and post-deal integration. The role requires 10+ years in F&A with M&A experience, and deep knowledge of GAAP, controllership and FP&A.

Expect collaboration with senior executives and cross-functional teams across complex deal lifecycles. The team focuses on post-deal operating models, integration planning, and value creation

Qualifications

• Experience in Finance & Accounting consulting, M&A support, and private equity context.
• Strong executive communication and collaboration with C-suite and boards.
• Proven ability to manage complex integration projects across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead Finance & Accounting due diligence and integration efforts in PE deals.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to map accounts, policies, and closing calendars.
• Drive Day-1 readiness and post-deal operating model design for finance functions.
• Manage projects and engage senior client stakeholders to deliver results.
