Alvarez & Marsal is hiring a Manager – F&A M&A in our PEPI practice in the US. The role requires 5–8+ years in F&A with strong M&A exposure, cross-functional leadership, and GAAP knowledge.

You will guide pre-deal and post-deal activities across Finance, Accounting, and risk areas, coordinating with bankers, lawyers and client leadership. The position emphasizes Day-1 readiness, integration planning, and leadership in a fast-paced, advisory environment, offering growth in a top-tier

Qualifications

• Strong leadership with ability to manage teams and set direction.
• Exceptional executive communication and stakeholder management.
• Experience in M&A, private equity diligence or integration.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint for modeling and presentations.
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or CPA preferred.

Responsabilités

• Support Day-1 readiness across F&A sub-functions.
• Coordinate finance integration including revenue, AR and payroll.
• Lead cross-functional teams through due diligence and deal execution.
• Own the integration plan and drive timely delivery.
• Engage with client executives and maintain clear communications.
• Design interim and future-state operating models for Finance.
