Job summary

You will educate patients on options, verify insurance benefits, dispense glasses, assist with repairs, and support lab edging and finishing. Bilingual English/Tagalog preferred; previous optical experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2–3 years related experience.
• Bilingual in English/Tagalog is desired.
• Strong customer service skills and sales abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with frame and lens selection and proper fit.
• Educates patients on lens options, sunglasses, and needs.
• Verifies insurance benefits and explains coverage.
• Dispenses glasses and guides adaptation to new prescriptions.
• Assists with repairs and adjustments; coordinates with lab.
• Cross-trains and supports other roles as needed.
