Job summary

Total Vision LLC in La Quinta, CA is seeking an energetic optical assistant to help patients select frames and lenses, ensure proper measurements, and explain insurance benefits. Qualifications

Optical knowledge is preferred or required.
Strong customer service and sales skills.
Proficiency with basic computer software and office tools.

Responsibilities

Assist patients with frame and lens selection.
Educate patients on lens options and insurance benefits.
Ensure proper fit and measurements for single vision, bifocal, progressive and others.
Dispense glasses and explain adaptation to new prescriptions.
Assist with repairs and adjustments.
Ensure timely follow-up on patient calls and inform about delays.
