As an Optical Sales Associate, you will assist patients with frame and lens selection, educate on lens options including sunglasses, verify insurance, dispense glasses, and help with repairs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 2–3 years related experience or equivalent.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish or Hindi preferred.
• Excellent customer service and sales skills expected.
• Ability to use multiple software platforms for transactions and records.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with frame and lens selection.
• Educates patients on options for clear lenses, sunglasses and other needs.
• Ensures proper fit and measurements for all lens types.
• Verifies patient insurance and explains benefits.
• Dispenses glasses and informs patients about adaptation to prescriptions.
• Helps with repairs and adjustments.
