National Vision's America’s Best brand is hiring an Assistant Eyeglass Manager to lead the eyeglass department and drive store performance in Maplewood, MN. You will manage associates, monitor sales, and ensure exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role emphasizes coaching, scheduling, inventory control, and adherence to company policies while promoting growth and promotional activities. Experience in optical sales and supervision is preferred.

Qualifications

• Optical sales experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Proven ability to lead and coach associates.
• Strong understanding of store operations and standards for success.
• Strong communication skills for effective management of teams.
• Strong organizational skills for planning and progress monitoring.
• Ability to analyze, create, and understand financial reports.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve problems of varied scope.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and achieve profit, sales and performance goals (review the P&L).
• Oversee the eyeglass department to ensure efficiency and policy compliance.
• Provide outstanding customer service and coach the team to do the same.
• Review remakes and enforce quality standards and policies.
• Communicate with General Manager, District Manager, and Corporate Office; provide reports.
• Ensure store promotions, advertising and visual merchandising are in place.
• Supervise Opticians and sales associates; ensure day-to-day tasks are completed.
• Assist the General Manager with staffing forecasts, recruiting and retention.
• Motivate associates to exceed performance standards.
• Duties may vary to meet state licensing requirements.
