America's Best, part of National Vision, is seeking an Assistant Eyeglass Manager to lead the eyeglass department, manage staff, and drive profitability while delivering exceptional customer service. The role emphasizes budgeting, reporting, and adherence to company policies across multiple locations.

The ideal candidate has optical sales experience, leadership skills, and a strong ability to coach associates.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency is required for store interactions and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and achieve profit, sales and performance goals (P&L).
• Oversee eyeglass department efficiency and policy compliance.
• Provide outstanding customer service and ensure staff deliver the same.
• Review quality standards, remakes, and enforce policies.
• Communicate with General Manager, District Manager, and Corporate Office; provide store reports.
• Ensure promotions, advertising, and visual merchandising are in place and understood by staff and doctors.
• Supervise Opticians and CL Sales associates; manage day-to-day staffing and tasks.
• Forecast staffing needs, assist in recruiting and retaining qualified staff.
• Motivate team to exceed performance standards.
• Note: some locations may require licensed personnel for certain duties.
